On Saturday 9th October 2021, 12 members of District travelled to Hermanus to carry out their annual Installation of Walter Weeden Mark and Phoenix Royal Ark Mariners.

The RAM was performed first, with W. Bro. Roger Vernon Smith going into the Chair as Commander. Senior Warden was Gerrie Du Plooy and Junior Warden Geoffrey Carver.

This was followed by the Mark Installation. W. Bro. Coenraad Bierman going in as Master, Geoffrey Carver as Senior Warden and Keith Beelders as Junior Warden. Two Mark Grand Lodge Certificates were also presented by the District Grand Master, R.W. Bro. Pieter van den Berg. One to Gareth Evans (on the left) and the other to Johannes Le Roux (on the right) – pictured here.

The Ceremonies were followed by an informal Festive Board which was enjoyed by all. Many thanks to Walter Weeden Mark and Phoenix RAM for their hospitality.
