Drakenstein had their annual Installation on the 28th May 2019. A good force of eleven District Officers turned out to do the work. The actual Installation was done by our Deputy District Grand Master, Rodney Frank Atkinson, and was done impeccably. This was also his swan song, as a new Deputy, Daniel Lawrence Gadd-Claxton, will be appointed at the Mark Annual Meeting on 3rd July 2019.

Brother Frederick Willem Scanlen was installed as Master. Worshipful Brother Scanlen then installed his officers, which he did perfectly. Worshipful Brother Gabriel De Vos Rabie was installed as Senior Warden, and Worshipful Brother Eugene Cilliers was installed as Junior Warden.

After the meeting, we all adjourned to the Festive Board, where we served with a fantastic meal by the three good ladies who did the catering.
